Presley Yang is a Los Angeles-based artist who primarily works with analog photography. Having earned his Bachelor of Arts in the Photo and Media Program at the California Institute of the Arts in 2024, his work delves into landscapes and natural phenomena, emphasizing the subject matter and the physical medium of photography. By experimenting with various darkroom techniques—such as liquid emulsion, cyanotypes, and plant-based developers—he pushes the boundaries between image and material, creating a deeper connection between the photographed content and the processes that bring it to life.
